The Student Services and Placement Office spearheaded the Career Day on July 21, 2011 to assist the graduating students in their job search. Topics include Career Planning, Resume Writing and Acing the Job Interview. Prospective employers also graced the event.

'Marian's Got Talent!' Debuted at Annual Field Day
At the annual field day held June 9th at the Griffith Park, Marian College's version of the popular TV program, "Marian's Got Talent" took its maiden performance, replacing the traditional "Miss Marian" beauty pageant! The new program was a hit with the wholehearted participation of the various classes from both campuses. Indeed, from the more stereotyped vocal renditions to dancing sensations, the Marians showcased a host of exceptional talents.
FACULTY MEMBER OBTAINS MSN DEGREE
Mr. Alan John M. Matus graduated from the Master of Science in Nursing on May 20, 2011 from the California State University, Dominguez Hills. The commencement ceremony was held at the Home Depot Center Tennis Stadium.
Mr. Alan who has been with Marian College since 2002 graduated magna cum laude at the Colegio de San Agustin de Bacolod, Philippines, and was the 3rd place topnotcher of the Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam in 1995. He graduated from the MSN program with a GPA of 4.0! He teaches theory classes in all terms of the Vocational Nursing Program.
